After reading Pam Bossert's letter I think maybe she should ride around and look at how many houses are for sale. some being on the market for over a year. We don't need more built right now. Has she heard of supply and demand? How many retail buildings are vacant. Businesses have been opening and closing at about the same rate for the last 6 years in Payson. Mostly on Main St.
I see houses under construction with new starts all the time. How about the two story apts. going up on E. Main next to all the new empty retail buildings.
Buildings are not always started the day the permits are issued. Construction alone will not keep the town going nor will it kill it.
Maybe people are leaving because of the high price of heating gas, that Evans was going to have lowered immediately.
Illegal workers are helping to kill it !
It is the same way in Mesa. Vacant houses and retail shops everywhere. Some strip shopping centers are completely empty. This didn't happen over night.
Does she want to blame Mayor Edwards for that too?
As for the by pass the people here in Payson have been working on that for years and years. Where has she been?

There is a man in Chicago that sends me his wife's research papers, Wish I had had them 2 yrs ago. Possiby my husband would still be at home.

It is bad enough when Evans won't let the public talk, but now he interrupts town staff and council, either to shut them up or make a stupid joke. He always manages to bring someone's name in to his conversation that he has visited with since the last meeting that we are supposed to be impressed with. Who cares? You have a nice day too.
They pulled the two above items for consent agenda. Toilets and boats. Maybe they are going to discuss them. That was fifty nine thousand dollars not fifty nine dollars. Sorry about that. Parks manager says it won't cost anything for the lnsurance and staff. Do you believe that?
Buzz had put an extra dollar on everyone's water bill to pay for the toilets when the first ones were bougt and given to people. How about that folks? Aren't you proud we are paying for other peoples new toilets? Approved 7-0

Why not use the sign at the CofC for the Humane Society to raise money like other organizations have done?
