Sorry, Pat, don't know what you're talking about. Nothing was removed. Could it be in another string? 1. Perhaps a glitch in the system. 2. Maybe, just maybe, you hit the wrong key again. :) John
I copied and pasted the release from the Payson PD. Person died of natural causes. Nothing to report there. As I said, happens more often than you know.
Thanks for the tip Dean, we'll certainly continue to look into it.
Pat, I don't know how you could assume that I assumed Ruby got the information from you. Pat, I know it came from Dean it's in the other blog. You're just too much fun.
On Saturday, July 12, the body of 57 year old, Allen Eugene Cotton, was discovered in the trailer where he resided at 212 W. Wade Ln. The preliminary investigation indicates that Cotton died of natural causes. The investigation is ongoing at this time. For any inquiries concerning this case contact Det. Les Barr at the Payson Police Dept.
Hello, Pat. If you will recall, you and I sat in my office and had a very nice conversation. One of the issues you raised was a quote from Kenny Evans used in a news story. Pat, I told you then and I'll say it again. When a reporter uses quote marks in a story, it is what the person said. Your issue is with the source, not the reporter. Now, if I told you I'd get back to you about something we discussed and didn't, I apologize. I wish you'd brought your tape recorder. :) :) :)
Pat, over the past year, I have certainly been amused by your sense of humor. At times, it’s difficult to spot however, it’s mostly transparent.
On February 19th one of your posts was deleted. In it you stated “it seems whenever the police are called there’s a murder”. Pat, no matter how you look at it, that’s not funny.
Recently, one of our posters was taken off the blog after attacking another member of the group for posting “Thank You, Payson…” under the Election thread. This type of criticism will not be tolerated.
Yes, Pat, the complaints we’ve received are from users and non-users alike. In fact, you have complained and used the “suggest removal” option on other users posts.
Unfortunately, we are reading all the posts. During the election, there were a number of posts that were scrutinized and certainly could have been deleted and would have during different times and not directed at public officials. You know Pat, there was bashing going on from both sides and, if you analyze it, the field was pretty darn equal. Besides, politicians are a fairly tough lot and have certainly opened themselves up for public scrutiny by taking on an often-thankless job.
Pat, bottom line, I could care less if our users bang on politicians, public officials or even newspaper people as long as the statements are fair and to the point. I agree, by and large the group is intelligent and informed. However, because another user has a different opinion than yours doesn’t mean they automatically deserve a personal slam. Argue the issue, leave the personal stuff out of it. That’s all I ask.
Finally, I enjoy hearing about your grandkids…. reminds me that I’ve gotta call mine.
