- Well, it’s a new year and I am sure everyone is hoping for better times. Especially for the economy to turn around. Let’s hope 2009 is a better year. Let’s hope for no more home foreclosures, and for the lowest gas and oil prices. Let’s hope for lower mortgage rates. For the end to the war, and for a cure for cancer, heart disease and diabetes. Let’s just remember to have hope.

- Sunday afternoon I took my daughter to “The Spirit of Christmas,” sponsored by the Payson Christian Ministerial Fellowship. This was the first time I have been to one of their Christmas programs. I have to tell you that if you missed this one, you missed a wonderful and exciting program.
