Tom Spiegelberg, left, licks an elk nugget as a taste test before presenting the keepsake to Tara Hitchcock. Spiegelberg finds nuggets from various animals and makes necklaces out of them. Of course they have been dipped in liquid polyurethane and sometimes painted different colors before strung into jewelry.
