Payson Youth Football 2006
More than 100 young football players and their team cheerleaders were hard at work at Rumsey Park preparing for the NAU Dome Day event to be held in Flagstaff Oct. 28, 2006. Dome Day at the Northern Arizona University sports dome is an annual event involving youth football teams from throughout the region.“All teams in the conference get a chance to play in a big league dome,” said Payson Youth Football League President Dale Gonzales. “It’s really an exciting opportunity for them.” The players, ages 6 to 13, will begin playoff action in Payson the weekend of Nov. 4.
