This week's review
Welcome to the Review. In this week’s edition, our feature is on the annual Main Street Electric Light Parade, which will be held Saturday, Dec. 6, starting at Sawmill Crossing and ending at Green Valley Park. The artist profiled this week is a wood turner, who makes exquisite decorative bowls with such a gleam and glow they look more like jewels than wood. Historian Stan Brown writes about the origins of the Payson Rodeo in his Back When column this week. Our movie fans share their views of “Twilight” and “Changeling.” Look for recipes that are just right for a holiday buffet or those drop-in visitors, from carolers to friends bringing good tidings. The Kitchen Diva column tells of how the author’s audition with her mother’s raisin and pecan pie launched her television career — and yes, she includes the recipe. In the Good Health column learn which is better — sleeping pills or insomnia. The book review column profiles a new nonfiction publication on the looting of treasures of the ancient world. Inside you will also find a collection of puzzles and other activities for your entertainment. Enjoy Thank you for reading The Rim Review.More Rim Review
