How disgusting! Veteran's Affairs employees using "Company" credit cards for personal use items.
We have a real problem with our government agencies - they have grown so large and unwieldy that there is no longer any oversight of either activities or expenditures by employees. And it is pretty obvious that the employees are not shy about taking advantage of the situation. I believe that our Congress has forgotten why they are elected to go to Washington = somebody has to take charge and stop this constant pilfering.
Apparently, anyone who is employed by a government agency believes that they have found the bottomless money pit and just starts mining!

Didn't that happen here a few years back with Town credt cards?
Alcohol on out of town trips. NO not Murphy !
