Why import employees when we have them tight here?

Looks like Bill Gates can buy what he wants right in front of the TV cameras!

One of the Arizona Congressmen, Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D.Ariz) has introduced HR5630 which would double the current number of HIB Visas to 130.000 per year for 2009 then increase to 180,000 in 2010 if the 2009 cap is reached.

These are the special visas which allow employers to import foreign workers to work in their industries and almost always pay below the wage paid to American workers A method of insourcing, rather than outsourcing.

This is just great when you check the number of layoffs by Gates" Microsoft, Intel, etc. etc. and then look at the total unemployment numbers right here in the USA as we enter a definite recession.

Maybe you could write or call your own congressman and say NO. Oops, I forgot, he is under indictment and may be too busy to bother.

Oh well, that's life in the good old USA.
