Bonds was only able to hit 236 (?) home runs in the first five or six years on his career, but became a BIG hitter during the years most players begin to taper off. WHY?
Hank Aaron did it the hard way and IS still the best!
I think we should watch the 19 yr old on the Dbacks. If he keeps it up he will break all kinds of records. I can't think of his name this morning. Dean, I know you watch sports, but NASCAR comes first.
Pat, I have to admit I only watch NASCAR but there is no way to avoid all the hype about Barry What's his name. Every sports report seems to talk about him. So it's hard to miss.
Pat, no kidding! Justin Upton is one heck of a player. Won't even by 20 until later this month - the 25th, I think. Seems like a really good kid from a really good family, too.
Talk is that Carlos Quentin will be traded after this season. I think they should trade Conor Jackson, too. Put Tracy back on 1st and keep Reynolds on 3rd.
This D'backs team is fun to watch.

You're kidding, aren't you, Dean? Bonds. I know I'd like to forget him.

Of course I know who Barry is. I was being sarcastic.

I know, Dean.
Ruby, I think that many share your sentiment about who's really the greatest baseball player.
Barry's record won't stand as long as Hank's did. A-Rod just hit his 500th homer the other day - the youngest ever to do it.
