When you measure 1 cup of brown sugar , tightly packed their is no question needed, When you measure 1 cup of shredded zucchini, loosely packed as it comes off the shredder or somewhat packed or do you weigh out 8 oz. on a scale. Is 1 cup of shelled walnuts, including air space in a 1 cup measure, or do you weigh out 8 oz. on a scale?

Most things don't matter that much.
Bread is science, have to be exact on that.
