This is from an up-date e-mail I received from Bob Edwards about the last council meeting:
"CDR to increase the Salary of the Mayor and Town Council... the incoming Mayor has indicated a desire to do this but it failed for the lack of a second. While I understand the thinking on this it is, in my opinion, the wrong thing to do. If the salary is raised too far you run the risk of people running who are willing to live on the salary and you get what you pay for. There is a need to cover the costs of serving but I think the current salary does that."
My comment:
I believe this is the second item Tim Fruth has put before the council, per Kenny Who.
I'm wondering why the mayor elect doesn't wait till he's in office to start changing things?

According to the book the League of cities prints every year, there are some towns that don't pay either the mayor or council members.

What was the other one any PROOF.
Why would Tim care that was has last meeting
