Why should we have to pay $350.000 to pay for special english classes for students that are here illegaly?
What happens if a Chinese or German family moves here and the children don't speak english?
Would the state be screaming we have to hire more teachers that can teach Chinese and German? I don't think so!
We are turning out students that are legal citizens, have gone all thru school and don't speak proper english, why are we worrying over criminals speaking english?
My niece moved to Mexico when she was about 11 yrs old and did not get special treatment. She learned spanish on her own, as all classes were taught in spanish.

    Pat
This is one I agree with you on 100%. Some teachers may lose their jobs because of having to pay these teachers to teach English to illegals. I can't believe this. Nice post. Some first year teachers have been told that they will be the first to go if they can't come up with the money to pay them because of the teachers needed to teach illegals. I really do miss you when you are not on here. Welcome back.
    Thanks
