Isn't it sending a mixed message to the youth in Payson when every organization in town wants to raise money for kids, they ask for a license to sell alcohol?

Mogollon Health Alliance is asking for liquor license for the Gracie Haught Roping.

There are all kinds of groups against kids using alcohol and drugs but then to raise money. SELL ALCOHOL !

Set an example, find some other way to raise money to help the kids.
It is better to set an example than saying don't drink, but we will sell alcohol to raise money for you.

Do as I say, not as I do does not set a good example.

No, I am not anti alcohol, I have drank my share and owned a bar.

I can't beleive I am the only person that thinks this is wrong.

Selling alcohol to raise money for kids, sending them a mixed message.
Isn't it like driving 95 mph with your kids in the car and telling them not to speed?

Or if it is a good idea, defend it, show me I'm wrong.
