As I sit here watching the rerun of the last council meeting I agree with Mike Vogel. Why do we pay out so much money for consulting? What are the department heads, volunteer committees and task forces for?
The consulting firms always come back to the depts. and committees for thier information. So why do we hire them, when they get the information from the town to begin with.
Parks, streets, transportation, American Gulch and Main st. has been studied and paid for already more than once ! Can't the old studies be revised if needed by the Town employees and committees, or does anyone even know where they are?
I asked for a study of streets that Payson and ADOT did together many years ago and noone could or would find it.
I watched most of it too, interesting how council members have reversed some of their decisions from the one before this one. Just proved to me they were doing things out of spite, and to hell with the results, as long as they can oppose Bob Edwards.
Wanting the vice mayor to make appointments. Allowing the vice mayor to sign the $47,000 Roundabout contract, because Bob Edwards refused to sign it. Voting no on appointments Bob Edwards made.
My my my, how things do change. You don't suppose they thought it over and realized how STUPID their ideas were? And I don't have to name names, do I?
Pat called me and I got to watch the last 14 laps. I didn't recognize some of the names, did Dale Jr. run that race? The schedule I have is for Sprint Cup races, and the race in Mexico wasn't listed.

NASCAR ran a road course race in Mexico City today, at 11:00 AM, on ESPN, and will have a replay at 9:30 PM on ESPN2.
